The Southeast Alaska Airport Terrain Adjustment Pack adjusts 75 airports in southeast Alaska, United States. Using geo-referenced aerial imagery provided by Virtual Earth and cross-referenced using Google Earth, all airports in the coverage area were checked for proper location, orientation, and plateaus. Where necessary the airport backgounds were adjusted, as well as taxiways and aprons to conform with their real-world counterparts, and terrain surrounding the airports was adjusted where necessary to eliminate plateaus. Using this product will ensure that all airports in the coverage area are accurately-placed. |

Homer Airport (PAHO) required significant subtle adjustments to bring it into FSG ATAP specifications. Runway, taxiways, aprons, and parking were all adjusted, as well as terrain adjustments.

Though anyone can use the Southeast Alaska ATAP, best results will be obtained by those who have a 38m addon terrain mesh package for Alaska installed, regardless of vendor, especially Flight1's UT Alaska. This product was developed using UT Alaska as one of the reference sources.
This is a download-only product with both manual and auto-installed options.

Valdez Pioneer Field has a plateau as a result of applying high-resolution terrain mesh. FSG SE Alaska ATAP adjusts the runway, taxiways, and aprons, and adjusts the terrain surrounding the airport to eleminiate the plateau

| Please Note: If they have not already done so in installing the previously-released Hawaii ATAP, FSGenesis Alaska-Hawaii Base Terrain customers should uninstall any old versions and install the new version, available now in their downloads section before installing the SE Alaska ATAP. |

Kenai Municipal (PAEN) required no terrain adjustments, but the runways, taxiways, aprons, and airport property were corrected using geo-referenced aerial images.
|

|
|

Cooper Lodge (JLA) was severly midplaced, a common problem. The FSG SE Alaska ATAP corrects this.

UT Alaska adds considerably to all of Alaska, as you can see, however detailed airport adjustments were beyond the scope of the product. FSG SE Alaska ATAP makes these adjustments using georeferenced Aerial photos as reference.
