These products have been compiled from the 30-meter National Elevation Dataset (NED), a "best-available" digital elevation project of the United States Geological Survey resulting in a highly-refined data source brought together from many sources.
The Cordillera Canada, Ontario, Interior Plains, Atlantic Canada, and Yukon Territory products were compiled from the recently-released 23-meter Canadian Digital Elevation Dataset (CDED).
